How it Works - Virtual Online Speed Dating .
Fastlove's Online Virtual Speed Dating events allow you to meet a series of daters from the comfort of your own home
- all you need to take part is a smartphone or computer. Here's how it works:
STEP 1: INSTALL THE APP
To join our Virtual Speed Dating you need to install the 
video conferencing app to your device if you don't already
have it - we’d recommend using a computer or laptop, but it works on a tablet or smartphone with a WiFi or data connection
too. Follow this link to download the app. Please do this well in advance of the event starting.
STEP 2: CONFIRMATION EMAIL
Before the event we will send you a confirmation email with the details of how the event will work and the link that you'll need to join.
STEP 3: JOIN THE EVENT
The meeting will be open ten minutes before the start time. Click on the meeting link when you are ready to join, and please try to be on
time - we will allow a few minutes for latecomers but cannot guarantee that you will get onto the event if you arrive after it starts.
Remember to allow access to video and audio before you join the event.
STEP 4: DURING THE EVENT
The host will greet you on arrival and will advise you of your ‘badge number’ and how the event will work. You’ll then be moved into
various ‘Breakout Rooms’, which we like to think of as ‘virtual tables’, for your one-on-one speed dates. You will spend 3-5 minutes
with each of your dates before the next dater appears on your screen.
STEP 5: AFTER THE EVENT
You will receive an email later that evening with a list of all of the people that you met. You then have until 3pm on the following day
to send us your 'yes' ticks; following that you will receive a match results email at about 5pm.
